SAAT is not an established treatment or cure for MCAS. Evidence is insufficient to claim it changes mast-cell dysfunction, prevents flares or reduces medication needs.
What is SAAT?+
Soliman Auricular Allergy Treatment is an ear-acupuncture protocol. Ask about procedure risks and evidence before considering supportive care.
Should I stop medication or test a trigger?+
No. Keep prescribed treatment, trigger precautions and your emergency plan. Medication changes belong with your prescriber.
Who diagnoses MCAS?+
A qualified medical clinician should assess suspected MCAS. Symptoms alone do not establish diagnosis.
What if I have a severe reaction?+
Follow your emergency plan and seek emergency medical help. Acupuncture is not emergency treatment for anaphylaxis.
